I'm weighing the options between the UAP-AC-Pro, Netgear Orbi and Asus AC68u for upgrading my current Wi-Fi setup. Right now I'm using a belkin AC1750 DB..., which isn't delivering the best performance I expect. If I choose the UAP-AC-Pro path, I'll keep the belkin as the router and use the UAP as an access point. For the Orbi and AC68u models, both act as routers with AP capabilities, so I can simply plug them in and they should work. My main concern is how well each option handles Wi-Fi connectivity and stability, especially since I have a gigabit connection and want my devices to maintain a solid link even if the actual speed drops to around 25%. Let me know your thoughts, Jason.
