Hey everyone, I had an issue with my USB 3 connector. When trying to insert it, I bent a few pins, but I wasn’t applying the right pressure and ended up forcing it in. I’m curious if those pins are necessary. Should I just take them out or keep trying to straighten them? It’s really tough to bend them back now. My motherboard is an Asus Prime Z370-A. Thanks for your help!

I try to return them but if not, just send a return request.

ASUS returns policy covers bent USB header pins. You usually pay for shipping both the return and replacement, unless specified otherwise.

It seems you're asking about potential consequences for making a mistake, and whether people would take your explanation seriously. You mentioned experiencing similar issues before and now feel confident, suggesting that adjusting your approach might help.
