My keyboard features 99 standard keys (excluding function and media buttons). Treating each key as a binary switch—either on or off—yields 99 possible states per key. With 99 keys, the total combinations amount to 2^99, which is an enormous number. A few million of these failing seems quite plausible. I rely on the number pad for arrow keys. Thanks to Hades, I understand certain inputs won’t work, making it hard to navigate in specific directions.
But then I'm still puzzled about how the test functions... wouldn't it require testing every possible input? And if that's the case, wouldn't the system ignore inputs that don't work? Anyway, let me restate what I found: I haven't discovered any non-functioning combinations (I probably checked around 50), and I likely followed a realistic approach—using WASD plus random keys, just like the test suggested. Is this a limitation of the game or my keyboard? I'm sure when I press A in Overwatch while holding D, the character doesn't move right as expected, since the button should register properly (it stops moving left until I release D). So I need a way to adjust the keyboard settings so I can play more like a pro!
