Type of network?
I handle on-call tech work regularly. Recently, I received a request to perform a pre-install survey for VO-IP phone setups. Most of the checklist items came together smoothly, but I’m having trouble determining if the network is convergent or not. I shared a simple sketch I created to illustrate my situation (though it’s not perfect). The orange circles mark the locations where phones need to be added, while the circled components will link phones to the internet via daisy-chaining, and the switchers will connect the phones to the network. At first, I assumed it was a non-convergent setup, but now I’m still uncertain (the company’s diagram is confusing).
