I have two CPUs, each with 16 GB of RAM and a 1,000 watt power supply. I’m using an Asus 1060 with 3 GB storage. I’m considering adding a fast NVMe drive via a PCIe adapter. While SATA would suffice, I’m curious if the NVMe adapter would function properly. If not, I’m sure SATA would work well.

It should function properly, but it seems unlikely to boot from an NVMe drive on such outdated systems, even with a PCIe adapter.
