Hey! I built a new PC recently and am now starting the Windows installation. The issue is that whenever I connect the flash drive, my SSD seems to vanish. It’s as if it swaps out for something else. When I switch to UEFI in the boot menu and try installing Windows, I run into a major hurdle—can’t find any SSD. The prompts show “UEFI: KSI-MSFTWindows 10 PMAP, Partition1” and then just “KDI-MSFTWindows 10 PMAP.” I’m really confused about what to do next. I’ve heard that turning off CSM support and re-enabling it might help.

It seems your installation media is corrupted. You can download the latest Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software.../windows10. Save it to a PC and use Rufus to create a bootable USB.

No, it's not necessarily corrupt to partially complete the installation.
