Hello, I'm currently using a Ryzen 9 5900X on an Asus B550-F motherboard with Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 AMD Optimized Memory – Black. I was planning to upgrade to 64 GB but accidentally ordered CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 Desktop Memory – Black. I haven't installed the second set yet since I'm unsure if they'll fit or cause issues. Will they work together smoothly despite the latency differences? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. When you pair them, I’d run the slower unit in the main slots. Make sure to reset your CMOS. If needed, disconnect the battery. You’re looking at a roughly equal chance of success.

No problem. I've worked with mixed rams before under similar conditions and it's been successful, though not always. The worst case is they might not fit together, requiring you to send back the new kit. Honestly, there shouldn't be any risk in giving it a try.

I'm playing a mixed set currently. It includes 2x8 G.Skill 3200C14 Royal and G.Skill 3200C14 Black and White. This setup has been consistent since December 2020.
