I’m setting up a new PC for overclocking and gaming. I’m weighing two ASUS boards: the Rog Strix X670E-E and the Rog Crosshair X670E. My build will use the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic Mini case. Both options have pros and cons, and I tend to make poor choices, so I need some advice. Also, I’ll be purchasing them from an open-box source at Microcenter—Strix is $424.96 with open box, Crosshair is $449.96 just to clarify. Thanks for reading, and enjoy the holidays!

The Gene is an mATX motherboard, and although it's good that Asus is offering more advanced versions in that size, I don't think it makes sense to buy one for a setup like this.

With the mATX gene included, the design would appear somewhat sparse since the motherboard is smaller. It also comes with fewer features due to its compact size. The Strix model is even more affordable.
