Two processing units available.
It’s doable to have two processors inside a single computer. The combined performance is roughly equivalent to simply adding their individual strengths. It can be efficient if the tasks benefit from parallel processing. If not, hardware limitations or software constraints may prevent it.
It resembles a system with one main processor but more cores. Certain jobs can be split across threads easily, others are tougher, and some are nearly impossible. Adding another processor introduces extra challenges because the delay between physical CPUs is greater than that between cores on a single chip, and the memory setup will differ.
