Do you have any suggestions for games you can enjoy with a friend on your PC? You mentioned having two monitors and two mouse sets—great setup! Let me know if you need more ideas.

Gang Beasts, Octodad, SpeedRunners will be the setup. I’ll also include Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes—just one player controls the PC, others guide them. Two keyboards or mice won’t make a difference; the outcome stays the same regardless of which button is pressed or mouse used. I recommend using gamepads (like Xbox 360 or Xbox One controllers) if you prefer, though more options exist. For dual monitors, multiple keyboards, mice, and a case, consider virtualization. Check out Linus’s video “2 gamers 1 CPU” for guidance. It demands a strong CPU and possibly two dedicated GPUs (three if integrated isn’t available).

I attempted it earlier but ended up failing because the VM didn't start. I have a basic controller. Could you try using it to launch another Minecraft or game on a second monitor?

Requires effort, yet virtualization makes it easier. ...Alternatively, look for titles that work well in split-screen mode.

Mercenary kings Sonic and friends are racing in Minecraft with split-screen speed runners. The game includes battleblock theater, blaze rush, crypt of the necrodancer, monaco call of duty, black ops 3, street fighter, mortal kombat, brawlhalla oliiolii 2, rocket league, and spelunky timberman. These are all two-player titles, and I play them locally with my wife.
