If it isn't working as expected, I'd say you're doing well. A BIOS update might be the next step, though I'm not relying on it. Using two different kits often resolves issues, but sometimes unexpected results occur.

The actual performance could differ. Also, when you manually set RAM to 2666Mhz, the CPUZ in the "Memory" section might display a different value.

The 2133Mhz RAM could become unstable when running at faster speeds. It might help to check its stability using a tool such as Memtest86, which only requires an empty USB drive to install and start from. Just to be certain.
