My computer suddenly stopped showing images recently. I checked RAM, slots, cables, and other components, but nothing helped. After installing a new motherboard, the issue persisted unless the GPU was removed. When I swapped in a different GPU (1080) from another machine, it worked. It seems possible for a CPU to lose its ability to use a GPU under certain conditions. The system is functioning normally without the 1060 GPU.
Connected the display cable to the GPU or motherboard. Updated BIOS settings if necessary.
Apply 99% IPA to the PCIE X16 port, cover it with a tissue or paper, and let it dry for four hours. This method helped fix a PCIE X16 slot when I first received my P6T Deluxe V2. It might also work on the GPU—clean the connector with 99% IPA on a tissue to remove any residue.
Use the brothers' power supply along with the cables included with it.
