Two memory-related BSODs occurred on your new computer. Need assistance?
I've taken out the RAM stick from the furthest slot to the CPU (B2), leaving only one in slot A2. I've tried the same setup before it crashes (closing BG3) and it worked fine. With the second stick, it caused a BSOD almost immediately, but this time it showed a different error (report below): "SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION" on Ntfs.sys. I'm starting to think this stick might be the cause, even though the .sys file suggests a drive problem. It's the first time I've noticed that. If it's related to the CPU or memory controller, I have no idea. The new RAM will arrive tomorrow, and if it happens again, it could be this or a faulty motherboard slot. It's really frustrating and confusing. Why do these things happen so suddenly?
It doesn't necessarily indicate a drive problem due to the page file. If one stick performed well (keep in mind A2 is recommended for single sticks), the other likely has an issue.
It seems the second stick (originally in B2) was causing BSODs in the A2 slot. I hope the new RAM will resolve the issue. I’m still confused about why RAM fails so unpredictably after four months of light use. I’ll keep you updated, hoping it was just that.
Things can fail unexpectedly. When heat is generated, materials expand and contract, leading to wear over time. Even minor flaws during production can accelerate this process.
Set up the new system and checked it twice where it usually crashes, but everything seems fine so far. I’ll keep trying over time and hope it works out. It’s a bit uncertain whether a memtest is necessary since the faulty version didn’t show any issues, but I’m hoping it’ll be resolved. Thanks for all the support—I really wish this problem is fixed now!
