Hey guys, So I have an HP Split x2 (it's terrible, I know). Anyways it is a hybrid laptop and tablet; therefore it has 2 batteries, one in the tablet portion and another in the "base". My question is this: Is there any software that exists that would make it possible to force the batteries to run in tandem so the computer would only recognize a single power source? I would prefer not to wire the batteries in line as I dont think it is worth the effort. Thanks for any tips.

The headline seems a bit off; could you clarify what you're referring to?

Each battery works differently, mixing them can damage components. It might seem like a good idea, but I’d avoid it.

It depends on the batteries available. My friend swapped out the optical drive in his notebook and added a large OEM battery, connecting them together. This significantly extended the device's runtime. The improvement isn’t universal—you’ll need to understand some technical and electrical concepts. I don’t think your setup would be the same.

Thanks for the suggestions. I believe I've decided to go along with what's available to me.
