Hello everyone, I'm facing an issue with my TV when connecting it to my PC. My system specs are as follows: graphics card - NVIDIA 2070 Super with latest drivers; TV - Samsung QN90B 4K 144Hz; monitor - Aorus CV27F 1080p 165Hz; operating system - Windows 10 Pro. In the display settings, everything appears grayed out, no resolution, no scaling, no refresh rate, and no HDR access. However, when I set up the monitor, it works perfectly. I've tested various HDMI cables but haven't seen any improvement. I only plugged in the TV and still got the same problem. Could anyone suggest possible solutions? ThanksSmile

Adjust resolution, scaling, and refresh rate through Windows settings. For HDR, the details are unclear—I usually find HDR enabled via a monitor setting that activates after receiving the signal. You may need to enable it in Windows first.

You're looking to adjust certain configurations on the Nvidia 2070 Super. The HDMI output is capped at 60Hz for 4K, and enabling HDR requires pressing WIN + ALT + B. Checking the Nvidia driver for available settings might help.

This was my issue with adjusting the refresh rate and scaling. I attempted to switch the TV to gaming mode, which automatically applied a better scale, but I still couldn't modify it in the Windows display settings. Additionally, HDR enabled itself when I changed to gaming mode. I reviewed the Nvidia control panel and found the resolution set to 3840x2160, which matches the display's native size. I've included a screenshot of the Nvidia driver configuration. Another concern is that in Far Cry 6, changing the resolution only offered two options—4096X2160 and a lower one—not the display's native setting.

On the right side there is a refresh rate setting, did you attempt to modify it?

Absolutely, it reaches its limit at 60 frames per second when rendering at 4K resolution. The issue is linked to my graphics card's capabilities.

I noticed that too. I own two 2080 Ti graphics cards, and recently got a new monitor that runs at 240Hz. I had to swap them in at both locations so they function properly. It worked whether I used G-Sync or not.
