Are you checking the game options to ensure it displays at 1920x1080? TVs can be quite particular, especially with HDMI connections.

The game works smoothly at 1920x1080 resolution, and your TV appears your desktop and web pages when connected. However, when you start a game, the screen becomes blank. The display is 16:9. I’m not sure of the model number.

PES 2015 seems to be causing issues on my system. I think I was expecting FIFA to run at 1920, but it might have been set to 1280 instead. Right now I'm away, so I can't test the ATM feature.
