I was eager to try some simple manual overclocking, so I began by turning off SVID support—the change I made after reading about it. After restarting, my PC restarted but kept running for over ten minutes without posting. The motherboard displayed code 65, indicating CPU DXE initialization was starting. Once the CMOS was reset, everything returned to normal. However, I’m puzzled as to why SVID support remains disabled even though I’ve followed the steps correctly. My setup includes an ASUS Z690 Hero motherboard with the latest BIOS and a 12900KS chipset.
Do you possess a voltage manual? If not, it's likely the reason.
