Hello, my friends. NCP Global Settings is being overridden by Windows 10, isn't it? We need to fix this so Nvidia drivers take control instead of the iGPU for most programs. Right now, the Power settings are all set to Ultimate Performance.

He’s probably using a laptop. The system settings are there, and it’s simpler because the NCP prefers to claim I’m not linked to an Nvidia GPU. Spoiler.

It seems such a scenario couldn't happen on a PC.

I revised my feedback. If you wish, changing settings within the NVIDIA control panel to always select the dGPU should prevent Windows from modifying it.

It seemed similar, the NCP turned grayed out. Pressing Restore in NCP lets me change to Hi Performance, but applying it instantly brings me back to the original settings.

This was a bothersome section in the latest Windows 10 release. It took some time to locate the NVCP configuration, which eventually functioned correctly. I’m curious if there’s a distinction between DCH and the standalone NVIDIA driver version—shouldn’t they align?
