Hello, in Windows 7 I rely on Displayfusion and had several functions linked with a keyboard shortcut plus another key. Now it appears those shortcuts have been replaced by default in Windows 10. For instance, using Win + X to switch between monitors is already part of the Power User menu in Windows 10. Would you like to know how to reconfigure these shortcuts so you can keep using Win + X and similar keys for Displayfusion?

I'm not sure, but I just changed it to the alt option instead of the Windows key.

It seems like you're dealing with some compatibility issues. You mentioned shortcuts for win + z, a, q, c and noticed problems on Windows 10. Are you using DisplayFusion as well? Let me know how you'd like to proceed.

I'm still adjusting to using alt... Must say 10 is WAY snappier than 7 and a little bit snappier than 8/8.1. Also this is one of the first topics I have seen in a long time with an issue in windows 10 that isn't about an error I've seen on here 100+ times.

Initially using Windows 10 was quite challenging for me. Graphics drivers didn’t function properly and resolution adjustments were impossible. I had to restart several times before things stabilized. Spent some time exploring before going back to Windows 7. I’m trying to find a workaround for Soundswitch since it doesn’t work well there. Displayfusion has this feature but needs extra steps to activate. In Soundswitch, the pause/break button was much easier to use. I’m also checking if AutoHotkey is compatible with Windows 10. I have a script for multimedia tasks and want to know if a fresh install requires entering my old Windows 7 key or if I need to switch to Windows 10 first and then reinstall. Do they provide a new key? How am I locating the updated Start menu? When I first noticed it, I found it a bit confusing. Overall, I’m planning some changes before making this switch permanent. I’d also like to upgrade to a larger SSD.
