Turn off the screen illumination when booting up.
A month ago I bought the Ryzen 5 7600x, an AsRock B850M-X Wi-Fi card, and a Silicon Power Gaming DDR5 6000 16x2 to upgrade my old PC. Everything functioned fine until recently. After a week, the system froze completely after restarting Windows. I repeatedly rebuilt the setup, reseating the CPU each time, but the boot process kept cycling between red and orange lights for about twenty seconds before switching to green or back again. I tried everything—changing CMOS battery, jumper connections, replacing all components, even swapping the PSU—but nothing resolved it. Now I’m stuck, spending hours online with no solution and hundreds of dollars spent. If anyone can help, please do. TLDR: After CPU swap and multiple rebuilds, motherboard and RAM stayed green, but booting failed repeatedly.
I've assembled numerous PCs and understand which components should function well together. But during my most recent build, it didn't power up immediately like all previous ones. It looked like it needed some time to settle—specifically adjusting the RAM configuration, which took a few minutes. The fix was simply letting it rest for a short while; eventually, it worked perfectly. Could this apply to your situation too? If you think there might be an issue, I recommend carefully verifying the RAM, as getting it seated correctly can be quite challenging.
