Check your CPU settings in Manjaro to identify the cause of throttling. Look for any conflicting drivers or services, especially related to BD ProChot. Use system tools to verify if the driver is active or misconfigured. If needed, consult Manjaro documentation or community forums for driver alternatives.

In Linux you may need to install certain programs to access and modify CPU registers. The MSR 0x1FC bit controls BD PROCHOT. To turn it off, clear that bit. If the value is odd, subtract one to make it even. Read the 0x1FC value, adjust it to an even number, and write the updated value back. You might want assistance with reading and writing CPU registers in Linux.
