Is there a method to disable the temp folder? It seems to cause your SSD to degrade after a few write cycles—though it’s manageable. Some files aren’t removed immediately because many systems have more than 4GB of RAM, so storing them shouldn’t be an issue. I have 16GB, which should handle it.

Search online for instructions on relocating the temp folder to your hard drive. Consider whether using a RAM disk is necessary for this task.

Just turn it off entirely—there’s no need for the PC to store files on the SSD when there’s plenty of RAM available.

It's different. The temp file is used for thumbnails and preview images. You can limit the number from system settings. It seems you're confusing pagefile and temp. Pagefile helps with RAM, but you can move it to an HDD if needed. You might not be able to choose the same location for the temp folder.
