Turn off pinch-to-zoom feature for the trackpad.
I purchased another affordable Windows 10 Tablet to stay productive while traveling. It resembles a Surface but features a detachable keyboard. The main issue is the trackpad—it’s quite poor. While the tracking works, it’s too small to differentiate gestures clearly. When I attempt to scroll, it tends to zoom in instead. Due to the tablet's limited processing power, it takes roughly ten seconds for the zoom effect, during which I’m unable to interact. I’ve checked the settings but didn’t find a way to turn off the pinch-to-zoom feature. It doesn’t appear to use Synaptics, Elan, or Windows Precision drivers, so I’m unsure what’s being used. Anyone have suggestions on how to disable this functionality?
Assuming you're using precision touchpad drivers:
1) Look for "Touchpad" in the search bar next to the Windows button (proceed to step 2) OR
2) Open All Settings (Gear Cog Icon) in the Notification section and click on Devices.
3) Navigate down until you find "Scroll and zoom," then enable the toggle to turn it off.
No, I didn't understand your question correctly. Have you checked the control panel or mouse properties?
