I checked that article on the website but nothing helped. When the text says to name the new key "DisableSearchBoxSuggestions", my computer keeps throwing an error because it only accepts "DisableSearchBoxSuggestion" with one "s". I think this is why it's failing, but I have no clue what is wrong with me. Can anyone tell me if there is a mistake here?

Do you have an article link? If what I see in your post about disabling the search box suggestion works, just change that setting to be your new key name. It might just be a typo if it's not working properly right now. If there are no other problems then we need more details from you.

Here is the link, I think: And I tried it, and it worked for me. At the step where they asked me to make a new key called "Explorer", I already had that, so I just went into it to create DisableSearchBoxSuggestions and then restarted my computer.

I got this working right away. I can't figure out why I couldn't name it correctly at first, though I tried renaming it in the modify section rather than just changing the label.
