Hello! You can turn off Windows updates in Windows 10 by going to the Settings menu, selecting Update & Security, then choosing Update options, and turning off the "Update settings" toggle.

Open the control panel and navigate to the settings section. Enter "Updates" into the search bar and review the available information.

It’s not possible to turn it off, but the simplest option is to enable notifications so it can restart automatically. You might want to look up "service.msc" carefully, as it can affect your system, and there may be a hidden method there you’re missing.

I prefer keeping things stable rather than risking changes. Past updates damaged my new laptop, so I had to reset everything. A working system is essential to address security concerns.
