I start my computer, the fans run but the screen stays dark. There’s no typical beep sound during setup, and it doesn’t power off by itself. A cup of tea spilled on my desk, yet everything inside looks normal. I’m puzzled about what’s happening. Can someone assist?

Full system specs would be helpful to begin with.

Certainly, do you have display cables connected to your GPU or motherboard?

I'm not sure, sorry I don't have much knowledge about this. My cables connect to the GPU, which is an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450. The CPU is a Xeon processor—I'm not entirely sure what model it is. I also have 6 GB of RAM, split into two 2 GB and two 1 GB sections. Edit: My CPU is likely the Xeon 5470 or similar.

It's quite old yet feels so abrupt; everything worked smoothly until recently.

For a device that's quite outdated, it might be tricky to locate drivers or BIOS support.

No issues reported with bios recently, but should I verify it?

Sure, I can help with that. Just let me know the model you're interested in.
