The Strix offers excellent value for its performance. Personally, I think the Rog looks more appealing. Choose the Rog instead.

You might want to upgrade to the newer AM5, or if you can’t afford DDR5, consider getting a 12600K/13500+Z690 or a B660/760. Those options would really hurt the value of the 5800X3D outside gaming. For mobile phones, focus on devices with the I/O you need plus extra features like Wi-Fi, external clock, etc. Also check the VRM quality—some models have weaker ones, but on AM5 it shouldn’t be a big issue.
