I assembled my PC in October and experienced some problems around late January. The Ethernet connection was unstable, Windows didn’t recognize the adapter, and power issues kept appearing—had to restart it several times. My Asus B550 runs Intel 2.5, but for the initial two and a half months it didn’t perform well. Each boot or wake-up took about 38 seconds to initialize, which was frustrating. The issue was resolved after a BIOS update around 1.5 months ago. A new release helped, and I think another update might assist you too. On Bios 1804 (Latest Stable) there is a 2004 Beta intended to resolve USB problems with this chipset—I didn’t have any—but I’d rather wait for a stable release.
