TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING specifications for Ryzen 2600 processors
Hi everyone, I own a TUF B450M-PLUS gaming motherboard and I’m upgrading from 2200g to 2600. I’m currently on BIOS version 0409. Usually I’d just upgrade to the latest release, but I’m concerned some makers stop supporting older chips in newer BIOS versions. Checked the ASUS website and the BIOS details didn’t mention anything about this. I’m a bit worried about updating, so please let me know if you can help. Thanks in advance!
When a board stops working with a certain CPU, the BIOS notes this in its description. For example: "7th gen A series rely on Bristol Ridge instead of Zen." This means the makers removed support for them. The 2200g and 2600 models both use Zen (and Zen+) technology.
