TUF B450m Plus-gaming Ethernet isn't functioning as expected.
Hello, I'm trying to get my Ethernet to function again after the Windows 10 update. It seems like something might have affected the port. I've already tried a few fixes: restarting the PC and reinstalling Windows, manually downloading the driver from the motherboard site, updating to Windows 11, checking the LANWCONFIG service, troubleshooting the driver, and using Windows troubleshooter tools. Nothing seems to work. Could you help me resolve this? I'm worried about replacing my motherboard.
Have you attempted to access the Ethernet adapter driver and install it yourself? You can do this by: 1. Opening the device manager 2. Navigating to network adapters and locating your Ethernet adapter (for me it’s a Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller) 3. Searching for the adapter name in a search engine and typing “driver” (for me it’s the Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller driver) 4. Downloading the appropriate driver from the manufacturer’s site (for me it’s Realtek) 5. Following these steps, I hope your issue gets resolved.
Thank you for your message. I attempted earlier, but it functioned now. For clarity, I ran the diagnostic tool first, which resolved the issue.
