Trying to speed up my Ryzen 3600x with a b450 tomahawk board
I want to speed up my Ryzen 5 3600X processor by overclocking it. You know what I've set it to, and I'm wondering if anyone else has done the same thing. My current settings are: The CPU core voltage is 1.4375 volts, and the CPU clock runs at 4250 MHz. My memory sticks are using an XMP profile of 3600MHz with timings 17-19-19-39, which is all I've changed so far.
It should go downclocks one chip and raise the other, then run through that whole process alone until it gives you a final suggestion about a CB20 score. You can use this by setting or creating your profile, or you can change the frequency and the MV values to get higher scores. In his guide he said when changing an MV by 25 equals 50 mhz, so Freq 1250 is 1300 MV, and 1275 to 1300. That's just a simple example, so don't use those numbers unless they are very close to what it says you should. You will have to play around with that too. Also try running Asus RealBench or Cinnabench outside of the program to test your system. Mine crashed on both of those even at its recommend settings, so I went back to my OC.
