I'm new to this, and I've seen a few post on here already talking about it, so I hope this isn't an issue.
Basically, just built a new system, Ryzen, figured by now the kinks would've been ironed out.
Got a Ryzen 5 1600.
TridentZ RGB (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR) 16GB.
GTX 750 TI (gonna hopefully change this soon)
ASUS ROG B350-F gaming
But, before I got the RAM I looked into if it could run with the board, people said yes, some people said screw the QVL, so I did.
Now I'm trying to run it, and it runs at 2133 stock, very well, no issues or anything, but I want to push it to 3000, 3200.
So I go into the DOCP profile, and only one profile comes up, DOCP 2400. Just the one, I select it, then try to change it to 3200, it black screens.
Boots in safe mode every single time I try to push it past 2400, and one time, it didn't seem like it wanted to boot at all, and I was worried that I fried the system, and I just got these parts yesterday. So I'm just curious.
Is there anyway at all, to get this RAM to 3000? I mean, it's been almost a year since the release, got the latest bios (I got it before I tried to "OC" the RAM)
I know I could run it at 2400 and be happy, and I will if there's no alternative. But, I'm just curious.
