Hey everyone! So, since you saw the title, I am going to try to overclock my Ryzen 5 2600 (which is not actually running at higher speeds because it isn't overclocked yet). This CPU runs on a 3.4 GHz clock speed right now. I also have the stock cooler already attached. Can anyone tell me how much speed I can push this thing before it breaks? If you could give me a link to a simple step-by-step guide for beginners, that would be great! I've never tried overclocking my CPU before. Thanks so much!

If you really want to speed things up, you might need a better cooler if you're going to overclock. But if the room isn't super hot, you can probably manage a small boost with the stock cooler. The original one is pretty bad by the way. Have you been checking your temps lately?

If you plan to push your processor beyond its normal speed limits, getting a better cooling system might help, especially if the room isn't very warm. Your original cooling setup isn't great at all. Did you check how hot your parts are getting right now?
