basically the video shows what the issue is. screen scrolls a black bar after a little bit of him using it. ive tried everything from checking every little pin under and ontop of motherboard. tried different ram, different power supply, havent been able to try a different gpu or cpu though. if anyone has any suggestions to help my kid out that would be fantastic. thank you in advance his specs are included in the pics. im under the impression its a video ram issue. i very well could be wrong. but if that is the case would that mean its a gpu issue? Checked if swapping the cable or reinstalling drivers worked. Tried reseating the video card. A GPU handles graphics processing, and video RAM stores graphics data. Issues could stem from the card itself or the monitor.
Agreed on all three points. Used ddu during the process too. Also organized his computer.
Have you tested it on a fresh display or a different graphics card? A backup unit would be a good idea.
