Trying to connect USB Wi-Fi on Lubuntu Linux
Have restarted it and I dont have wifi and cant find where I could add another device or something but the files (rtl8812au) have installed
Run the command in the terminal to list USB devices and check for the one you're looking for.
It doesn't seem to match who you are and it reported 'command Ishw not found'.
Previously attempted without effect, now requesting login details.
I handled the installation of updates (many of them) and now have the lshw command. When I ran it, it displayed various formats and options, but I’m unsure how to select or execute another command to choose among them. I tried running it as a super user, but it still seemed incomplete or inaccurate. Overall, this isn’t going to be worthwhile despite all the help and suggestions. Thank you for your support—it really made a difference.
