Try a fun game that works well with your setup—something engaging without needing a graphics card.
What kinds of games interest you? FPS, racing, platformers, puzzles, RPGs, and more? Would you prefer free options or are you looking for a set price range? With so many choices available, finding something universally enjoyable can be challenging, so clarifying your preferences might lead to better suggestions.
Destiny 2 is available for free on Steam right now. You might want to give it a try, though I assure you you won't be able to run it smoothly with built-in graphics. For entertainment, it could be enjoyable in the short term but may start to feel repetitive. If you plan to play, I suggest securing your copy immediately because after the next expansion, you'll no longer be able to access any of the original first-year campaigns.
However, as a followup to my previous comment, not knowing what you like, I will say Stardew Valley is an excellent game. Only $15 on Steam and it runs on almost anything. Plenty of content to keep you entertained for hours at a time, and they're still adding more.
Some AM3+ boards come with built-in graphics through the chipset. It’s not great, but it’s sufficient for viewing images and playing HD YouTube content. There’s also EuroTruck Simulator 2 if you’re into simulation games. The game runs smoothly, allowing you to use an older GPU at a low cost while maintaining high frame rates. It’s impressive how well the game is optimized despite being from a small developer.
TechPowerUp states a Vega 8 runs 15-22 times faster than AM3+ GPUs. Considering Minecraft on low settings at 720p and Doom, it might work.
