Try restarting your system or updating drivers to improve boot performance.
I assembled my PC in November, so it’s still relatively new. Every component was purchased brand new, with no used parts. I’ve observed some lag during the initial minutes or two of startup. Could this be due to programs launching at boot, or is there another cause? Thank you for your help in identifying the issue.
Upgrade to SSD, install BIOS update, clear out hard drive space, and add more RAM.
Check for an HDD. Turn off extra programs before they start.
Purchase a solid-state drive or SSD cache.
Install a 120 GB+ SSD from a reliable manufacturer.
Use a caching SSD for improved performance.
Buy a bootable SSD or SSD cache from reputable sites.
It's not extremely slow, but it doesn't perform as quickly as an SSD.
