Hello everyone, I'm working with an AMD Athlon 64 x2 5200+ system equipped with 8GB RAM. My goal is to run Linux Mint on this machine. After installing, every USB and PS/2 device fails to connect once the OS boots. A mouse works through the USB, but not after booting. The PS/2 port functions until the system starts up. My motherboard model is ACER HT2000 with MCP61SM-AM chipset. Could the BIOS require an update? Should I try connecting via a PCI-to-USB adapter? Also, could the issue stem from the system freezing during boot?
