I finally managed to install BF2042, as it looks like some issues have been fixed. I started with a conquest game but discovered my PC can't run the game at all. It's not playable for me and I'm thinking about requesting a refund on Steam. My system has a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RX6600, so I usually get around 60 fps. However, I consistently see around 40 fps, which varies between 2 and 70 fps. Performance drops significantly in areas with many objects or explosions. Could there be a way to improve it? Or should I wait until I upgrade my hardware to play again? EDIT: I'm using all low settings at 1080p.

Your current frame rate isn’t matching the capabilities of your device. Could you share your full hardware details? Also, are your graphics card drivers latest?
