I've been searching for a new..."casual"...game to relax into. I often play BF4, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and some Skyrim. I really enjoy them. But there are moments when I need a break and want something lighter and less intense. I'm sure others feel the same. This used to be Dota 2. I used to log in for a few quick sessions of dota2 to unwind, but after returning from over a year (still following the esports scene), the new match system feels really frustrating. I can't handle the players I'm dealing with, and no matter what people say—I just can't escape it (my tank dropped from 3500MMR to 3000 and it's gotten really bad now). I still love the game and plan to stay involved in esports, but this isn't my go-to "relax" option anymore.

Tried SimCity – first time in the series. It was fun at first learning how it works, but quickly became annoying due to its size limits. I attempted to enjoy the multi-city setup, but it just didn’t work for me. It feels broken and restrictive in many ways.

I really wanted to play X-Com—it was amazing—but I’ve played as much as possible. I tried the Long War mod, but it felt too heavy and clunky. When trying to return to the original version, it just felt too familiar. No complaints about the game, but after hours of play, I think I’ve hit my limit with this title.

Any suggestions for other games? Something light and easygoing to enjoy between BF4 sessions?

Experiment with the Mass Effect series—it's truly excellent and offers a smooth experience.

Truly, the top "relaxed" game I've ever enjoyed was Pokémon. Without a doubt.

I occasionally enjoy a Sims 3 run. I won’t dive into Sims 4 unless they add pools, which honestly feels like the core of the game.

Audiosurf 2 or 1 both are great Symphony is a great game but for some off reason it crashes while using raptr dynasty warriors 8 xtreme legends complete edition, this is a get cool down game, hack n slashs arent very hard and there is a lot of content and its all fluid ion assault, its not a big game but its a name retro kinda game with fancy effects and all killing floor- killing weird beings and blood never gets old any visual novel- i like them and they make you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
