Hi, I recently acquired a new computer which includes Realtek HD Audio Manager. I purchased headphones with a built-in microphone that require a splitter to connect to the PC. When attempting to connect the splitter’s various jacks to my computer, I'm prompted to select between “microphone in,” “line in,” or “headphones.” Plugging in the microphone jack and selecting “microphone” and the headphone jack while choosing “headphones” fails. I’m unable to utilize my microphone and can only listen to audio. What steps should I take to resolve this issue? Thank you.

Hello, there are two protocols: CTIA and OMTP.
Please review the specification for your connector and subsequently test the alternative.
