Hello! I've chosen to play Fallout New Vegas again, but I encountered some unusual problems with my FPS (actually more about my frame rates). I have several mods installed, yet these issues keep happening regardless. My computer's specs are: i7-4790, 16GB DDR3 RAM, GTX 1080. Fallout runs at a steady 31.2 FPS overall, but the frame times are really poor and often frustrating. Here’s the frame time graph—no other game matches this. I’ve tried turning off/on turning vsync in-game and in the NVIDIA control panel, switched between windowed and fullscreen, checked the Steam files, but nothing helped. My GPU usage stays around 12%, so it’s not a hardware limitation. If I cap my FPS below 31, frame times stabilize nicely; above that, they fluctuate wildly. I’m really puzzled and don’t know where to start looking for solutions. Thanks ahead!

The performance is poor because of the hardware constraints. Using the appropriate modifications can help reach at least 60 frames per second. Do you know about NVSE and ENBoost?

I'm using NVSE and received a solution from another source that resolved the problem. It involved removing ENB and installing NVHR (New Vegas Heap Replacer), which seems to have fixed it. I'm not sure if ENB removal or NVHR was the main fix, but I prefer ENB lighting. I'll revisit this later to confirm.
