I turned off both Steam and my computer, and I also purchased the game but haven't installed it yet.

The beta has been made available, and I should have the chance to install it beforehand. Even without a release, I would still be able to pre-install. The update will go live tomorrow, but I expect the pre-install feature to remain accessible.

I wrongly believed the beta was out today; it will be released tomorrow, so probably the team hasn’t enabled preload yet. Don’t worry about the above.
