Hello. In Packet Tracer you're trying to assign a static IP to a wireless device, but when you save and reload your file the configuration disappears. This causes the device to lose its connection to your IoT server. You might need to manually reapply the static IP settings or check if the file is being saved correctly.

On the command line, enter configuration mode and run the command “copy running-config startup-config”

I think this is for the PC or end device in which case there isn't an option for that. It sounds like a program bug to be honest.

The process of completely removing and reinstalling Packet Tracer isn't resolving the problem, unfortunately.

The Yea Packet Tracer has some quirky devices, and the developers haven’t refined those issues enough. I’ve faced a lot of problems with the WLC due to limitations and bugs in the software.
