Try adjusting your graphics settings for lower resolution or reduced shadow quality. Lowering texture detail, disabling post-process effects, and tweaking anti-aliasing can help achieve around 40fps in dying light conditions.

Reduce the view distance. No joke. It drops your FPS.

No, there isn't a noticeable change when switching between on and off.

Track your GPU activity during gameplay. If it rarely stays below 99-100%, it could indicate a bottleneck or poor threading performance. If it consistently runs at full capacity (99-100%) but still underperforms, consider upgrading the GPU. Adjusting the view distance might reduce performance by up to half, especially on hardware with limited VD capabilities. Lowering the view distance can improve clarity and quality, making distant elements appear sharper and more vivid. When you're actively using your device for intense tasks, these details become less noticeable.

It's unclear if the issue lies with either the GPU or CPU reaching full capacity.

GPU utilization isn't reaching 99-100% then there must be a constraint somewhere,... whether it's Dying Light or another factor...

It's a bad port with limited multi-threading capabilities, especially impacting AMD processors due to their weaker single-core performance.

It operates with just one central component, meaning you're essentially using a Pentium at this moment.

Dying Light performs poorly with AMD chips. This is disappointing. It seems performance improves marginally on Intel cores, which would mean the i3 should be closer to the i5.
