its asking me "choose an encryption passphrase for precise" I don't know what it wants i couldn't find anything through some searching, anyone know what i'm supposed to enter?

It's mainly used to secure the chroot environment, keeping it safe from malicious users. Usually just hitting enter bypasses this step, but you can type a passphrase instead. Note that "precise" is the standard name for the distribution version if you had questions about it.
