Hey, just began setting up a new PC build but it won’t boot. The only sign of life is two glowing RAM sticks. I’ve checked everything—cables, power button on PSU, and I’m not sure what to do next. If you have more details, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
Checked for the led but couldn't locate it, so it'll attempt using a single stick at this time and o will handle the CMOS issue.
You experience a delay while powering it up; DDR5 initial RAM training may require more than five minutes, sometimes appearing on a black display. Additionally, double-check that you’re not mistakenly connecting the RESET header to the motherboard and the PWR button header correctly.
I wasn’t aware that this could be a problem, but the power button needs to be correct.
Have you verified the power button connections? It seems the device remains inactive even when you attempt to turn it on, such as with fans not spinning.
It seems the power switch functions since pressing it causes the RAM to light up. I’m not sure if the image shows this, but the power button connects to pins 3 and 4 on the right side.
