Hey, I hope you're okay. I just reinstalled a friend's laptop to its original settings today so I could clear everything before she switches to Windows 10. When trying to install a Windows update, it keeps showing up for updates but doesn't actually start. I've booted into safe mode and run a disc clean, but it's still stuck for over an hour. Do you know what might help? Thanks!

Keep holding your breath. There are roughly 150 key updates and more than 50 suggestions to consider, making the process quite lengthy. All you can do is endure it. I recently installed a fresh Windows 7 version, which took around 3 to 4 hours to complete.
