Troubleshoot the MSI Gaming Trio X RTX 4070Ti issue where the screen goes blank and the fans speed up abruptly.
I recently assembled a PC that performed well with my GPU over the last two weeks. Two days ago, I powered it on overnight and upon waking, the screen was completely blank. I assumed it was in hibernation, but my efforts to restore it failed. The GPU fans were fluctuating, and I attempted a reboot along with testing different DP/HDMI connections on the GPU, yet nothing resolved the issue. Eventually, I connected the DP to the motherboard and managed to display something. The only solution I found was re-seating the GPU, but after a few hours the display vanished again, followed by sudden fan activity and then silence, while the GPU RGB stayed lit. Yesterday I repeated the process and even the built-in GPU didn’t show anything. I observed my motherboard displaying a persistent white LED on the VGA port. When I removed the GPU, the onboard GPU resumed operation. Now I’m left with a system that runs without the GPU. Could anyone assist me?
