Motherboard code loop issue: 15 → 36 or 3b → 32, then repeats resetting CMOS but the error persists after shutdowns. Video note: Apologies if using a potato camera. CPU: i7-4770K. Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5. RAM: HyperX Blade 2x4GB. Sorry for the unclear English.

Consider changing the BIOS settings if resetting the CMOS allows startup. Refreshing to the same version can also work, and some users reported success by turning off Memory Fast Boot in BIOS.

I encountered an issue while downloading a game today. My PC froze completely and the screen flickered—no GPU was being used, just integrated graphics. Checking the motherboard, the post code is 02. After restarting, I got stuck at code 15. It seems it might be time to upgrade my system now. Sad

This highlights potential problems with the unstable or defective RAM. The iGPU relies on system RAM for its VRAM, and any flickering suggests a VRAM issue, possibly indicating faulty RAM. Code 15 signifies an initialization failure. Are your RAM modules overclocked? What is their current speed? Would you like to test various RAM sticks?

But I ran a memory test and everything looks fine. Even after overclocking, there are still no issues. The GPU freezes occasionally but not with flickering, and I haven’t seen blue screens. My RAM seems to be working properly—no errors detected. It might be the CPU or motherboard causing the problem.

I used a standard memtest tool for testing. The CPU has been running overclocked recently. It’s best to perform tests on the original configuration to confirm stability. You might not realize instability exists because of the overclock, and the problem could stem from the power supply unit. I’ve noticed my system works fine for some time before shutting down unless the PSU is restarted; fans and motherboard activate normally but the display fails. This seems linked to worn capacitors. Do you have a different PSU available for testing? How long has your current one been in use?
